Spike is a gorgeous young tabby who is looking for a comfy new home filled with love. Sadly, he was abandoned at a property and left to fend for himself, but he’s now safe with us and ready to find the forever family he truly deserves.

Despite his history, Spike is a sweet and affectionate boy. He absolutely loves a fuss and is often found rolling around, proudly showing off his big fluffy tummy. Once he feels secure, his confidence really shines through. It did take him around a week to trust the cattery team and come out of his shell, so we expect he’ll need a similar settling-in period in his new home. A quiet, undisturbed room to start with will help him feel safe until he’s ready to explore the rest of the house at his own pace.

When settled, Spike would really benefit from outdoor access, where he can enjoy adventuring, hunting, and basking in the sunshine. He’s also a playful lad and especially loves chasing a wand toy—playtime is a great way to bond with him. He would cope well in a home with young children providing they are happy to give him the space he needs to settle in.

Spike is a loving, gentle soul who just needs a little patience at the beginning. In return, you’ll be rewarded with an affectionate, fun companion who will make himself right at home once he knows he’s safe and loved.
