Sky

She is incredibly affectionate and loving with the people she has strong relationships with. She’s the staff’s firm favourite when it comes to sofa snuggles (don’t tell the rest!). She will thrive in a home that is around for most of the day as she adores human attention. Sky can be apprehensive about strangers initially but with gentle introductions it isn’t long until she shows her famous happy bum wiggle!

As Sky is extremely food motivated it has made her very responsive to training. She’s eager to learn and knows many basic to advanced commands already. She will be a great companion for someone who is interested in carrying out fun obedience training or even agility! Sky’s perfect companion will be someone who is always up for a game of fun; just like her!

We can best describe Sky as a sensitive soul at times so her ideal home will need to be keen to build Sky’s confidence with the world around her by slowly introducing her to new people, other dogs and exciting new environments. It would be beneficial if her new owner(s) have had experience with nervous behaviours before, however, not essential so long as they’re understanding and patient. Due to her timid nature she would only be suitable for an adult only home.

Sky’s ideal home will have enough time to provide her with plenty of physical and mental stimulation as she’s an active girl who loves the outdoors. She’s used to being walked on a longline which gives her the freedom to run around and have fun but also allows us to practise her recall which is coming along well. Even though Sky may enjoy the outdoors, her favourite part of the day is unwinding on the sofa (with lots of cuddles, of course!).
