Veterinary Nurse

Veterinary Surgeon

An exciting new opportunity to join our wonderful veterinary care team has arisen.

 

Our vision is that no vulnerable animal in our community is without a safe space or access to veterinary care due to financial restrictions. As our charity grows, our ambition is to grow our veterinary offering, to be able to support more animals in our community. 

 

You will be part of a small veterinary team, which will comprise of two part time veterinary surgeons and a veterinary nurse. This role would include helping to oversee the successful delivery and development of our veterinary activities. The veterinary team would need to demonstrate a shared vision and commitment to positively impact animal welfare in our area.

Animal Care Assistant

We are looking for an Animal Care Assistant to deliver the highest possible standards of animal welfare and care for every animal in during their journey through CDCH, from arrival, to assessment and then to rehoming. 

 

Our ambition as a centre is that no abused, neglected or vulnerable animal in our community is without a safe space. We aim to ensure a future where animals can enjoy a life free from distress. We are committed to rehoming as many animals as possible in the most caring and conscientious way.

Deputy Retail Operations Manager

This is an exciting time to join the retail management team at CDCH. 

 

We are looking for a candidate who has enthusiasm, drive, and innovative thinking as well as the ability to have attention to detail regarding good governance and procedural compliance.

Retail Team Member

You’ll be working to change the lives of vulnerable animals in our community.

 

Income generated through our shops is used to support our charitable work ensuring that every vulnerable animal in our community has a safe space & no animal is left to suffer because of cost. 

 

Our retail team are passionate about our shops; focused on sustainability & upcycling, excellent customer service & delivering exceptional results. 

 

Income generated by our retail team supports abused, neglected & abandoned animals on their journey to loving homes.

Grants & Corporate Fundraiser

The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated Grants & Corporate Fundraiser to help grow our income from trusts, foundations and businesses at an exciting stage in the charity’s development.

We are looking for someone who is able to work to their own initiative and identify new income generating opportunities whilst maintaining and developing  existing relationships.

The successful candidate will have a strong fundraising background, particularly in bid writing or similar, a passion for animals is a must, and a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.

Volunteering

If you have some spare time and a love for animal welfare then volunteering could be for you. We have oppotunities for regular volunteer work within our centre, fundraising and in our charity shops.

Trustees

Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home is looking for dynamic and experienced professionals to join our committed Board of Trustees and excellent workforce to help shape, lead and develop our organisation into the future. You must have a passion for the welfare of dogs and cats as well as a drive and determination to keep on improving the services we provide. We are especially keen to receive applications from retail, commercial or development specialists.

Shop Volunteer

Various hours at all our shop locations​

To assist the Shop Manager & Deputy Manager to achieve agreed sales and profit targets whilst minimising costs and maintaining a strong presence in the high street to benefit the charity.

 

The post-holder will have a cheerful, confident and friendly approach. You will have good communication skills with a genuine desire to provide an excellent service to all shop users. You will have a keen eye for detail as the handling of cash and maintenance of systems forms a key part of this role.

 

You will show a commitment to the aims of CDCH and possess a willingness and ability to learn and follow direction.

This job has physically active elements. Volunteers are required to maintain a suitable level of fitness to enable them to perform their role effectively.
