Lollie arrived in our care a little worse for wear and nursing a litter of 8 puppies after they were found being kept in poor conditions.
Sadly, although Lollie had been a super mum and kept all of her pups alive and well fed, the same could not be said for her as she was severely malnourished, underweight and covered in sores and superficial wounds.
Fast forward 6 weeks, and although still carrying some scars, she is now fighting fit once more. Despite Lollies tough start and poor medical condition, she has proven herself to have the most gentle and soft nature towards anyone she meets. Now she has been nurtured back to full health, not only does she look better, you can tell she feels better too, as signs of her cute and cheeky nature are starting to appear.
Due to Lollie’s gentle nature she could live with children of any age so long as they were dog savvy and respectful. She would however benefit from a quieter home as she prefers the quieter side to life, and most certainly deserves it after running around looking after 8 puppies of her own! She could be socialised around other dogs so long as done at her own pace, however she appears fairly ‘disinterested’ in other dogs so would benefit from being the only dog within the home.
Lollie has been quite limited in experiences during her stay as she is still vulnerable and in need of her second vaccination, but already she is proving to be a star companion. Lollie responds well to her name, loves cuddles and fuss, walks nicely on her lead and will happily spend the evening snoozing next to you on the sofa, sleeping through the night without a peep – even making the most of a lye-in if she can.
We cannot wait to find Lollie the loving forever home she deserves. If you feel you could offer this gorgeous girl a spot on your sofa, then let us know by completing a perfect match form.
