This beautiful girl is Salt!

Salt arrived in our care after being removed from a very stressful environment where she lived from kitten indoors with lots of other animals. Sadly, although she is only estimated to be around 2-3 years old, she has a very limited experience of life so far and is still yet to explore the joys of the outdoors. Due to this, she has found the cattery environment rather scary and kept herself hidden away for the first week, but with time and patience, is starting to grow in confidence and interact with staff.

We believe that if Salt was given the gentle love of some understanding adopter(s) who would be happy to allow her lots of time and space to settle and for her trust to grow, she would begin to thrive. We are looking for a quiet and calm home which is adult only or with children 14 years and above, also without the stresses of other cats or dogs.

Due to her nervous nature and history, we are expecting a slightly longer settling time, therefore, any adopters should be willing to keep her indoors until she is visibly confident in the home (which make take a few months).

Salt is a semi-long haired kitty who will likely need some additional grooming to ensure her fur stays in good condition, but only once she feels more confident.

If Salts sweet face has drawn you in and you would like to offer her a second chance at experiencing the world in a more positive way, then let us know by filling out a perfect match form below:
