This very handsome fella is Tyson – a 3 year old Staffie Cross.

After arriving in our care through no fault of his own, Tyson is now keen to find a forever home with some humans all to himself.

Tyson is such a friendly and loveable boy and adores the company of his carers, always having lot of love (and kisses) to give. He is keen to make new friends and would thrive in a home that can offer him lots of attention and opportunities for socialisation, fuss and play.

He is a clever pup and has been learning lots of new tricks, however, as he is still quite young and can become a little over excitable, so he would be best suited to an active home with no young children (13+). His humans should be confident around larger breeds and happy to provide him with lots of metal and physical activities and stimulation throughout the day – he has really enjoyed his countryside walks at the centre, so the more adventures the better! Saying this, he does also appreciate his home comforts and is a sucker for cuddles and belly rubs on the sofa!

Tyson has been unsure of how to politely interact with other dogs at the centre, sometimes forgetting his manners, so his adopters should be committed to on-going training and socialisation to ensure he becomes more comfortable and remains a well balanced dog.

Having arrived at the centre a little thin, Tyson is now on a diet plan to help him get back to a healthy weight, which will need continuing in the home. He is a big foodie and can be a little cheeky around treats, so extra caution would be needed to ensure he doesn’t get his paws on anything he shouldn’t!

Tyson would make a wonderful addition for the right family, and will no doubt bring joy to their life, therefore, if you think your family could offer him all the love and adventure he is seeking, then let us know by filling out a perfect match form below.
