Sally the sweet Cockapoo is on a quest for a serene and understanding home that can help her embrace the world around her.

Sally’s very anxious nature would indicate that she has lived a very sheltered past, due to this, she is eagerly awaiting some patient and understanding adopters who can offer her the tranquility and time she deserves, and who are willing to allow her to settle and build trust at her own pace. Once this is gained, you will get a very gentle and loving soul, who will develop strong bonds with her favourite humans.

This girl longs for a quiet adult only haven, which is free from hustle and bustle – her adopters will need to be understanding that her journey to confidence is a marathon, not a sprint, and allow her plenty of time to  adjust. Having not experienced the comforts of a home environment, she will need some extra guidance to learn the ropes and some assistance with toilet training.

Sally may benefit from the companionship of another calm, friendly and confident dog, who would be happy to share their space and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. She would be best suited to a home which can offer a safe and secure garden space, as well as close access to countryside walks to ensure slow introductions to quiet public areas.

*Due to arriving at the centre with matted fur, Sally has undergone a temporary transformation to make her comfortable, and will soon regrow her soft and curly locks.
