George is a 5 year old handsome ginger and white boy who arrived at CDCH through no fault of his own, alongside his brother Percy.

While Percy has adapted very well to centre life, George has struggled to adjust to his new environment, being a lot more reluctant to spend time with staff and choosing to hide away. He has only known one home from kitten, so it’s no surprise he is finding it hard.

We know that George was an affectionate cat in his previous home, and are pleased to say that after giving him lots of space and time, he has started to show some trust, and allowed us to give him some fuss when he is feeling brave, proving himself to be an affectionate boy deep down – he just needs some time to flourish!

Due to George’s nervous behaviour and the expectations of his requiring a long settling period in his new home. We are seeking some very patient and understanding adopters, who can offer him a quiet and calm sanctuary in their home. Unfortunately he would struggle to adapt to a busier family environment, so adult only or children 16 years + would be more suited, and he would like to be the only pet while he adjusts.

If you think you can offer George the kind of environment he needs to thrive, and come out of his shell again, then please do let us know by completing a perfect match form below:
