Meet Bruno! This gorgeous 2-year-old male lurcher is an absolute sweetheart with a huge personality and so much love to give. He’s a total toy enthusiast and a master of fetch — his long legs make for the most hilarious and endearing display when he gets the zoomies! After a good play session, Bruno is a big fan of cuddles and will happily snuggle up with you.
The Home I Need:
As a lurcher, Bruno does have a naturally high prey drive, so he’ll need to be kept on the lead at all times unless he’s in a secure, enclosed space. Bruno also finds dog-on-dog interactions challenging and would need to be muzzled in areas where other dogs are present. For this reason, he’d thrive best in a home located in a quieter area with a lower population of dogs. With time, patience, and the right training support, this is a behaviour that Bruno can continue working on.
Bruno’s ideal home would be one with older children, as he can sometimes get overstimulated during play, which can lead to some mouthing behaviours. He would do best with adopters who can help him manage his excitement and provide calm, consistent guidance.
Health and Support:
Currently, Bruno is not neutered. We’d wait for him to fully settle into his adoptive home before moving forward with neutering, ensuring he feels safe and comfortable first. When he is ready he will need to be returned to CDCH to carry out his neutering procedure, this will be included within your adoption pack and fees.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion with a wonderful mix of energy and affection, Bruno could be the perfect match for you. Please complete the perfect match form below to get in touch.
