Phoenix

Phoenix is a 2-year-old collie cross with a sweet nature and plenty of energy. He came into our care through no fault of his own and is now looking for an active home where he can thrive.

He loves to run, play, and burn off steam, especially if there’s a ball involved. He’s brilliant at fetch and would enjoy a home that can offer him regular exercise and playtime. Phoenix would make a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors and is looking for an energetic, affectionate dog to join them on their adventures.

Phoenix is a smart dog who picks up on things quickly, so ongoing training and mental stimulation will be important in his new home. He’s strong on the lead, so he’ll benefit from further loose lead training. Due to his excitable and bouncy nature, we’re looking for a home with children aged 13 or older. Phoenix can be a little unsure of other dogs so will need some training when it comes to learning how to navigate these interactions.

He does have some hair loss around his back legs caused by previous flea dermatitis, but this has been treated and his coat is already growing back well.
