Frankie is a bright-eyed bundle of joy with a big heart and a huge personality packed into a small body! This sweet 2-year-old Pug came into our care through no fault of her own and is now ready for a fresh start with a loving family who can offer her the calm, stable home she deserves.

Frankie is an absolute lovebug – she adores people and makes fast friends with everyone she meets. Always keen to climb into your lap and stick to you like glue, she thrives on companionship and will be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time with a family who understands her need for security and consistency.

Life can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming for Frankie, especially in noisy or busy environments. As a small girl with some anxieties, she’ll flourish best in a quiet, rural or semi-rural home without lots of comings and goings. Frankie needs a calm space where she can truly relax and be herself.

When it comes to other dogs, Frankie has had a difficult past and doesn’t cope well with close encounters. Frankie can be dog reactive at times and needs a family who are willing to help her overcome this through positive reinforcement training. Frankie needs to be the only dog in the home, and we’re unable to consider homes with resident or visiting dogs.

Despite her sensitive side, Frankie is full of energy and charm. She’s a clever, lively girl who would love a home that can keep her stimulated with regular walks, playtime, and perhaps even some fun agility training to channel her enthusiasm!

• Someone home most of the time – Frankie doesn’t like being left alone
