Monty is a gentle, thoughtful boy with a kind nature. He can be a little cautious in new environments and when meeting new people, preferring to take things at his own pace, but a calm approach and a reassuring hand quickly help him feel at ease. Once he realises he’s safe, Monty enjoys affection and will happily settle in close, showing his appreciation with quiet purrs and relaxed cuddles.

Life in the cattery has been a bit much for Monty, and the constant activity has left him feeling overwhelmed. We’re confident that in a peaceful home environment, his true character will soon come through, and he’ll grow into a loving and devoted companion.

He would thrive as the only pet in the home, where he can be the centre of attention and build confidence without competition. Monty could live with older children who are experienced with cats and understand the need to let him approach in his own time.

When he’s fully settled and feeling secure, Monty will need outdoor access, allowing him to explore and enjoy the world at his own gentle pace.

His new family will need to return him for his second vaccination on 30th December, and he will also need to come back for his neutering appointment when appropriate.

Monty is looking for a patient, understanding home where he can feel safe and loved. If you can provide Monty with the home he’s searching for, please complete the Perfect Match Form below.
