Charles is a wonderfully independent gentleman who feels safest in a calm, predictable environment. A quiet hiding spot, a peaceful home, and a few tasty treats are his idea of happiness.

He can be a nervous boy and will often choose to tuck himself away in a cozy space where he can quietly observe the world from a distance. Charles likes to take everything at his own pace — watching, listening, and building confidence slowly. With time and patience, he will begin to feel more secure in his surroundings.

Food is certainly the way to his heart. Charles is a true foodie and enjoys his treats, which are a great way to help build positive associations and trust.

Charles isn’t currently looking for hands-on affection and prefers to enjoy his own space. He is seeking an understanding home that will respect his boundaries and allow him to come around in his own time, with no expectations placed upon him.
