Meet Alice, a beautiful girl who has had a difficult start after being sadly abandoned. As a result, Alice can find new environments and people quite overwhelming at first. She is a sensitive soul who needs time, patience, and understanding to feel safe – but beneath her cautious exterior lies the potential for a truly loving companion.

Alice prefers to take things at her own pace and likes to be the one in control of interactions. She isn’t a cat who seeks attention straight away, and hands-on affection will need to be built slowly and entirely on her terms. We know from the time she has spent in another RSPCA cattery prior to being in our care that once she’s ready to come out of her shell she is an affectionate girl who loves a fuss. She is now getting to that stage with us where she is happy to receive fuss and rub her little head all over your hands and arms.

• A quiet, stable household with no other pets.

• An understanding and patient adopter who will allow her the time and freedom to settle in and grow in confidence.

• Alice would be best suited to a calm, adult-only home or one with older, sensible children who understand giving her space.

• Outdoor access once fully settled, where she can explore and decompress in her own time.
