A little about me:
Amber has found the move to cattery quite daunting, and due to this now spending her journey with us in a safe and loving foster home. Her foster home has been able to provide her with the additional time and space she needs to feel safe and comfortable. Amber is a nervous girl initially, who takes time to settle and build a bond. She is very much a creature of her environment and requires a calm and relaxed home, with adopters who are initially happy with a hands off approach allowing her time to settle in at her own pace.
Once she is comfortable in her surroundings, she enjoys fuss and affection, and has shown herself to be a friendly and interactive playmate.
What type of family would suit me?
With patience and time, Amber would enjoy a calm quiet home with lots of opportunities to play and explore. She is a fun and energetic young cat who would be best suited to an adult only home. She’s hopeful she can find a loving and understanding home that understand that it may take her a few quiet weeks to come out of her shell.
What kind of home environment would be best suited?
It is important that Amber is given private time and space to settle in and patience when building a bond. Her adopters will need to be able to provide her with a separate quiet area (spare room etc) to decompress in initially as its is likely it will take her a short time to adjust to her new home. Once settled, Amber would love outdoor access – being a young girl she has plenty of energy to burn!
Can I be left alone?
Amber is not worried by being left alone, and would be happy to share her home with humans that have to spend a working day out of the house.
