Meet Apollo – Your adventure buddy in the making!

Apollo is a gorgeous, bouncy youngster with a huge zest for life. At just 8 months old, he’s still very much a big, excitable puppy who’s eager to explore the world and learn everything it has to offer. He absolutely adores people and greets everyone with enthusiasm, though he can sometimes forget just how big he is! Because of this, he’ll need continued guidance in his new home to help him learn polite greetings and general manners, both with people and other dogs.

Apollo would be best suited to an adult-only home, or a household with older, dog-savvy teenagers who are used to larger, boisterous dogs. He will thrive in an active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise, mental enrichment and positive training. His new family should be prepared to continue his learning as he grows into adulthood, helping him mature into the wonderful dog he’s destined to be.

Although Apollo has lived with another small dog before, he found the set-up a bit too exciting and his play became overly rough. Because of this, we’re looking for a home where he can be the only dog for now. However, he does enjoy meeting other dogs out and about, so ongoing socialisation will still be an important part of his routine.

Apollo has so much love to give and will make an incredible companion for someone who can offer him time, structure, and lots of fun. If you’re ready for long walks, playful antics and a loyal pup who’ll be by your side through every adventure, Apollo may just be the perfect match.
