Arlo is a gorgeous young Cocker Spaniel with a heart as soft as his velvety ears. This sweet boy is looking for a forever family who will take a gentle and patient approach as he learns to trust and blossom in his new environment. Though Arlo can be a little shy and cautious of the world around him at first, once he knows he’s safe, his loving and loyal personality shines through, and he quickly forms deep bonds with the people he trusts.

Arlo would thrive in a calm, nurturing home; either with adults or teenage children who can respect his space and patiently help him build confidence. He needs a family who is committed to showing him the world isn’t so scary after all, and who will help him grow into the happy, carefree pup he can be.

He would prefer to be the only pet in the household, so he can have all the love and attention to himself. However, he would benefit from a family who have access to canine friends that he could be built up to socialise with.

Due his breed, Arlo is a playful and energetic boy who will thrive from plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He enjoys countryside walks, where he can have the freedom to run around and have fun on a longline (he’s recall isn’t quite up to scratch just yet!).

He has proven to be eager to learn as he’s quickly learnt ‘Sit’, ‘Paw’, ‘Wait’ and is progressing with learning ‘Down’. His new family will need to continue on-going training in the home to ensure he continues to flourish.

If you’re ready to give Arlo the loving, patient home he deserves, he’ll reward you with endless love and companionship. Could Arlo be the missing piece of your family? Reach out to meet this beautiful boy today!
