This adorable little lady is Baloo!

She is a confident and sassy kitten who is on the look out for a loving home to explore once she is old enough to leave the centre (at around 8-9 weeks).

Baloo came in to our care at only a day old alongside her mum Bagheera, who unfortunately had a few health concerns, which meant that she had to be quickly separated and hand reared. Although this ordeal does not seem to have fazed Baloo who is always full of beans, it does mean she has missed out on the company and socialisation she would have gained from being around other cats as well as life lessons from mum.

Often found darting around, testing her pounce out on toys and climbing the legs of staff if she gets the chance, Baloo is a lively and happy kitten who is always seeking adventures. We are hoping to find her a family which includes another confident and friendly cat or dog, who would be willing to accept Baloo and show her the ropes, as well as give her the company she craves. As she has not quite figured out play boundaries just yet, she would be best suited to a home with older children.

Baloo will be having her first vaccination and Microchip before being adopted, and her new family will need to be willing to return to the centre for a 2nd vaccination within the week of the 9th October. Any existing male cats will need to be neutered, as Baloo is currently too young so will need to return to the centre for this procedure to be carried out at a later date (4-6 months of age).

If you feel you have the right companion for Baloo and can give her the attention she thrives on, fill out an application below to let us know.
