Barney

Everyone meet Barney, the energetic and affectionate Collie mix who is looking for his forever home! At nearly 2 years old, Barney is full of playful energy and loves nothing more than a game of fetch with his tennis balls or even a football if he is lucky!

This sweet, fun loving boy is looking for new owners to share a passion for the outdoors, where he can explore the countryside and enjoy adventures. He will thrive in an environment where his mind is kept active and engaged.

Barney is happy to meet new people, although, forgive him if he is more interested in whether they can throw a ball than cuddles and fuss, although, he is known to sneak a cheeky lap cuddle in with his favourite people during chill time. He could live with children of 10 years plus who are comfortable with larger energetic breeds.

He would be best suited to a home with no other animals as he does have a prey drive. Barney displays lead frustration towards other dogs which will require continued training within the home, however, he is capable of building relationships with other doggy friends. He would benefit from a home with access to other calm dogs he could enjoy going walking with.
