Everyone meet Barney, the energetic and affectionate Collie mix who is looking for his forever home! At nearly 2 years old, Barney is full of playful energy and loves nothing more than a game of fetch with his tennis balls or even a football if he is lucky!

This sweet, fun loving boy is looking for new owners to share a passion for the outdoors, where he can explore the countryside and enjoy adventures. He will thrive in an environment where his mind is kept active and engaged.

Barney is happy to meet new people, although, forgive him if he is more interested in whether they can throw a ball than cuddles and fuss, although, he is known to sneak a cheeky lap cuddle in with his favourite people during chill time.

Barney would be best suited to a forever home with no other animals, he has shown some prey drive and does have anxieties around other dogs. Due to this, his new family will need to be willing to continue with on going training and management in the home, which CDCH are happy to support with. Barney can live with older children who have experience with larger breeds and can be built up to being left for a short period of time.
