Meet Bert and Ernie!

Bert is a Black/Grey long haired guinea with beautiful locks & Ernie is a handsome ginger guinea with wire hair. Both are estimated to be about 1 year old.

They are a shy pair of piggies who enjoy the quieter side of life and can find things a little daunting causing them to hide. After patience and allowing them to get comfortable in their surroundings, they do start to become more confident and once they get to know you, their fun personalities start to show!

This pair are quite nervous of being handled and are still gaining confidence with this, so their new owner will need to be patient and gentle with them, slowly and regularly building them up with short cuddle sessions, which can be increased in time as they get more comfortable.

Bert and Ernie are looking for their forever home and would benefit from living with another female piggy, as they have both been neutered. They would be better suited to a quiet home, where their new owner will be understanding of their shy nature. Homes with calm children who are happy to be introduced slowly and be patient and gentle with handling will be considered.

Once settled, due to their unusual coats, they will both need regular grooming to ensure their fur does not become matted.
