Meet Betsy, our young calico female looking for her forever home.

At only 18 months old, Betsy is keen to find a loving and caring home.

Betsy has grown in confidence since entering our care at the start or December. Initially, she found it difficult to adjust to life in cattery but has now shown herself to be a gentle and affectionate companion. Despite her initial nervous disposition, Betsy is a sweet and friendly girl once she warms up to you. Initially shy and cautious in new environments or with unfamiliar faces, she tends to take her time to acclimate and build trust. Once she feels safe, her friendly and affectionate nature shines through. Betsy enjoys gentle pets and cuddles, often purring contentedly when she feels comfortable and loved.

Betsy finds comfort in familiar routines and cosy nooks where she can retreat when feeling overwhelmed. She appreciates quiet and serene spaces where she can relax and observe without feeling pressured.

Despite her initial nervousness, Betsy’s gentle and loving nature makes her an ideal companion for someone patient and understanding. With time and patience, she blossoms into a devoted and affectionate cat, forming a strong bond with those who earn her trust. It is likely that Betsy will find the move to a new home quite stressful, so it is important that her adopters are willing to give her a quiet week or two to settle in.

Betsy is looking for an adult only home without any other cats or dogs. Once settled, she will need access to the outdoors.
