Could you provide a loving foster home for Bonnie?

Personality:

Bonnie is a sweet and loveable 2 year old French Bulldog with a cheeky character. Bonnie is friendly with new people and loves attention, and may demand fuss in the way of belly rubs on occasion.  Bonnie has met some other doggy residents during her stay and enjoyed walks alongside them and has a playful nature, so may be able to share her home with the right dog. She is generally quite chilled in the home and likes to take plenty of naps and doesn’t seem too unsettled being left for short periods of time.

Foster home needed:

  • Home environment: A home with foster carers who don’t mind a dog with personality, as she has a cheeky character and a goofy nature! Bonnie would prefer to have someone around for a good part of the day initially, although she has the potential to be built up to being left for short periods of time once settled.
  • Children: Bonnie can get a little over excitable when playing, so children over 12 years would be best suited.
  • Other pets: Bonnie has been great with other dogs and has happily joined them on walks – she can be quite intense on initial meets, so the existing dog would need to be friendly and accepting. She is un-neutered at this time so existing male dogs would need to be neutered. She has not been cat tested at this time.
  • Length of foster: Bonnie is likely to be longer term resident of CDCH so we are ideally looking for a long term foster home, offering a minimum of 3-6 months care.
  • Ideal foster location: within 50 minutes drive of the centre GL2 7AS.

If you think you can meet Bonnie’s foster needs, and would like to discuss this further, then please complete a foster application below, adding the name ‘Bonnie’, or contact our team on reception@cdch.org.uk with any queries you may have.

Please note: Fostering an animal is cost free – CDCH ensure to provide foster carers with all the needed equipment, food and veterinary care during their stay.
