Bonnie

Meet the beautiful and bouncy Bonnie!

She is a 4 year old Victorian bulldog with a cheeky and playful personality. She puts the biggest smile on all of our faces wherever she goes and does not fail to add fun to any activity she takes part in. She has the potential to live with children aged 13+ but they would need to have an understanding of boisterous breeds as she can become over excited.

Bonnie has a shy but friendly temperament at first but once you have built a bond with her, she loves being playful and goofy with her favourite humans. This nature can be typical of the breed so anyone with experience and knowledge of the breed will be familiar to this.

She is beginning to make some doggy friends here at the centre and enjoys some four-legged company out on walks but she will need to be the only dog in the home as she prefers her own space. She would be happy to accompany her owner on social walks to expand her socialisation and meet new canine friends but this will need to be done at her own pace.

Bonnie is a lively character and is still learning so she will need ongoing training in the home. She walks beautifully on the lead and we have introduce new basic commands that she is keen to learn. She is a real people pleaser, and LOVES her food which makes training easy and fun.

Her new home will need to be mindful of her breed and understand that exercise may need to be restricted at times to ensure she isn’t over doing it on her joint and breathing. However, exercise has not appeared an issue so far at the centre; she’s always up for a walk or play session!

She has an incredibly sweet nature, endless amounts of love to give and loves nothing more than to cuddle up on a sofa at the end of an energetic day.
