Meet Boris and Donald!

Boris is a blonde/golden long haired guinea pig, and Donald is a blonde, grey and white guinea pig. Both are estimated to be around 1 year old.

These pals were brought into our care in desperate need of a haircut but have since had a tidy-up and are now ready to find their forever home.

Boris and Donald can be nervous when it comes to meeting new people, so will need a quiet home where they can settle in at their own pace and let their fun personalities shine. This pair are quite wary of being handled and are still gaining confidence with this, so their adopter will need to be patient and gentle with them, slowly and regularly building them up with short cuddle sessions, which can be increased in time as they get more comfortable. It is important that their adopter will be happy to take the time to desensitise Boris and Donald to being groomed, as due to their long coats they will need regular grooming once settled to ensure their locks stay luscious and prevent matting.

Boris and Donald are looking for their forever home together but could be rehomed with some other guinea pig friends, as they have both been neutered. They are looking for a quiet home where their adopter will be understanding of their shy nature. Homes with calm children who are happy to be introduced slowly and be patient and gentle with handling would be considered.
