Introducing Coconut,

This sweet natured girl is searching for a loving family that can shower her in the affection she craves. Coconut can initially be shy when meeting new people but quickly forms relationships especially when there is food and snuggles involved!

Coconut unfortunately entered our care with a pre existing eye ulcer and very poor body condition; because of this, she will need a family that are confident and committed to administrating daily eye drops and continuing her weight management plan within the home.

It would be ideal that her new home is located close to the centre so that she can return for vet visits until signed off for her eye ulcer.

She thrives in the company of humans so would benefit from a home who are around most of the day to provide her with the attention she needs. Her happy place is being snuggled up on someone’s lap having fuss, however, don’t let this fool you, she’s still a very cheeky and active girl as she’s only young! She has the potential to live with children of 10 years plus so long as they were understanding of her shy nature to begin with.

As Coconut is only 10 months old, she will require a family that can continue to support her on-going basic training and socialisation so she can develop into a well balanced mature dog. She can alarm bark at unfamiliar things that has hasn’t encountered before; we have begun training to help build her confidence here at the centre and her new family will be expected to adopt this training to help her grow.

If you feel you could offer this gorgeous girl the home she deserves then please fill out a perfect match form.
