Meet Conan – Our Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold

Conan is a truly special boy looking for a second chance at life and love. This big, beautiful Mastiff came into our care after being found abandoned in heartbreaking condition – emaciated, weak, and struggling with what we initially believed was a leg injury. Despite everything he’s been through, Conan has amazed us all with his resilience, his joy, and his unwavering affection for people and other dogs.

Since arriving at CDCH, Conan has shown nothing but love. He’s a goofy, affectionate, people-loving cuddle bug who adores playtime, belly rubs, and making new furry friends. He’s one of those dogs that just gets your heart – loyal, gentle, and full of love to give.

Health Update: Further investigations revealed that Conan is suffering from bilateral cruciate disease in both knees. This means he will require surgeries on both legs to help him walk and move pain-free. He also requires cherry eye surgery which will be completed at the same time. The cost of all surgeries will be fully covered by CDCH, but what Conan needs most now is a loving home where he can recover and thrive.
