Dallas

A little about me:

Dallas is a glossy black handsome boy estimated around 6 months old. He is a little nervous of new people and spaces and does take a little time to decompress in a new space and make friends with new people. During his settling in time, Dallas appreciates his privacy and will need a short while in a private space of the home to settle in.

Once comfortable in his surroundings, he is a friendly and affectionate boy who loves a bit of fuss and affection. Being a young lad, he has lots of energy to burn and would appreciate a home that can offer him lots of opportunities to play and run around!

What type of family would suit me?

With patience and time, Dallas would enjoy a calm quiet home with lots of opportunities to play and explore. Due to their nervous nature, they would be best suited to an adult only home without other animals.

What kind of home environment would be best suited?

It is important that Dallas is given private time and space to settle in and patience when building a bond. His adopters will need to be able to provide him with a separate quiet area (spare room etc) to decompress in initially as its is likely it will take him a short time to adjust to their new home. Once settled, Dallas would benefit from outdoor access, although may be a little nervous to begin with!

Can I be left alone?

Dallas is not worried by being left alone for short periods, and would be happy to share his home with humans that have to spend a working day out of the house.
