George is a 5 year old handsome ginger and white boy who arrived at CDCH through no fault of his own, alongside his brother Percy.
While Percy has adapted very well to centre life, George has struggled to adjust to his new environment, being a lot more reluctant to spend time with staff and choosing to hide away. He has only known one home from kitten, so it’s no surprise he is finding it hard.
We know that George was an affectionate cat in his previous home, and are pleased to say that after some sneaky observations of him, we have found that he is happy in his own company, and quite regularly explores his space when it’s a little quieter and no-one is around.
Due to George’s nervous behaviour, we feel he would struggle to adapt to a normal home environment as a family cat, therefore, we are now seeking an understanding adopter who can offer him something a little different.
We believe that George would be suited to more outdoor environment, where his adopters can offer him a cosy homely base to settle in to, where once he has fully adjusted, he could have free roam of their gardens/land.
Any adopters would need to consider that George may choose to trust his new humans over time, therefore, might wish to become more sociable and part of the home, however, this is not something we can guarantee.
If you think you can offer George the kind of environment he needs to thrive, and come out of his shell again, then please do let us know by completing a perfect match form below.
