💕 Meet Gracie 💕

Say hello to beautiful Gracie, our beautiful 8 year old Cocker Spaniel! A sweet, gentle soul who’s ready to find her forever home. Gracie has come to us through no fault of her own, from a home where her needs sadly couldn’t be fully met. Despite the changes in her life, she’s shown us nothing but love and affection.

Gracie adores companionship and would love a calm, chaos-free home where she can finally relax and feel at peace. She forms strong bonds with her people and can become unsettled when left alone, so she’s looking for someone who is home most of the day and able to give her the company she craves.

True to her spaniel nature, Gracie greets everyone she meets with a wiggly bum and a big smile, always hoping for a cuddle or a fuss. She’s been polite and friendly when meeting other dogs during her time with us, and would be happy to have canine friends to walk alongside. However, she would thrive best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself!

Gracie does have a history of resource guarding around food, so her new family will need to be confident managing this and allow her plenty of space to enjoy her meals in peace. We believe this behaviour stems from her past, and it’s not something we’ve seen during her stay with us – but it’s important her new home understands and supports her in this area. For this reason, Gracie will need an adult-only home.

As a typical spaniel, Gracie loves her walks and enjoys exploring with her nose to the ground, sniffing every scent along the way! She’d love an active family who will include her in their adventures and give her the chance to enjoy the great outdoors.
