Hank is a handsome mini Rex rabbit, who is hoping to find his perfect play mate and companion!

This young boy has a very sweet nature and has been good as gold for his foster carers – he will always greet them to say hello, especially when he thinks there may be a tasty treat involved! Being a big foody, he often get very excited around meal times and loves nibbling on dandelion leaves, which seem to be his favourite.

Hank enjoys his outdoor run and having lots of space to hop around in, therefore, would benefit from a home which could offer him the same. Hank is quite inquisitive and likes to investigate different levels and heights – you can often find him led on top of his bunny house watching the world go by. He is also known to give enrichment puzzles a go if you hide some tasty treats inside.

Although Hank is always happy to see his human carers, he would now like to find a companion bunny to share his home with – as he is neutered and vaccinated, Hank could likely get on with another friendly male or female neutered rabbit, so long as his adopters are confident in carrying out a gradual introduction during the bonding process, and have suitable accommodation for him during this time.

Like most rabbits, Hank would best suit a calm home environment, however, a family with children will be considered, so long as they are respectful of his space, and happy not to handle (Hank prefers to keep all four paws on the ground).

Adoption information:

  • Accommodation: The recommended accommodation sizes for a pair of bunnies is a single enclosed area of at least 3m x 2m by 1m high (this can include the sleeping quarters) – you can find out lots of handy information about Rabbit housing in the following link: Rabbit Housing – The Rabbit Awareness Action Group
  • Adoption fee: A single rabbit is £70 to adopt – this is inclusive of initial health checks, vaccination, a routine Xeno mite treatment and neutering.
