Could You Offer a Special Home to Herbie?
Herbie is a young 8 month old cat in desperate need of a second chance. After being removed from a multi-animal home where his needs weren’t met, Herbie has had limited socialisation and is finding the transition to a new environment incredibly stressful.
While he enjoys his own company and keeps himself entertained, Herbie finds humans quite scary and isn’t comfortable in their presence. Because of this, he’s not suited to a typical domestic home and is instead looking for a special adopter who can provide a low-pressure environment where he can live more independently.
Herbie would make a great outdoor / barn / farm cat that can thrive in an environment that can offer him a cosy shelter, regular food, and someone to keep an eye on him —all while having the freedom to live life on his own terms. If you have an outbuilding, barn, or other safe outdoor space where Herbie could have easy access to the outdoors while still being cared for, we’d love to hear from you!
Homes with other animals and children will be considered depending on the set up provided.
Please note: The cat in the photo is not Herbie, but rather a cat that looks very similar. Due to Herbie’s nervousness around humans, we have chosen not to cause him any stress by attempting to get a photo.
