Introducing Josie – our gorgeous 4 year old Shepherd cross!

This girl doesn’t only have the beauty, but the brains to match! During her time at the centre, she has already mastered many tricks and has been star student in class. She has created lovely bonds with her carers, showing great connection and loyalty and would no doubt make a wonderful companion to someone willing to give her their time!

As Josie is an energetic dog who loves to run, play and learn, she is hoping to become part of an active household with humans who can provide her with plenty of stimulation, enrichment and training opportunities. She absolutely loves exploring new places so would thrive on adventures with her humans – if you enjoy the outdoors, you can count on Josie to get stuck in.

Being active doesn’t mean Josie doesn’t like her cuddles, she adores her humans and will often join them for sofa snugs if the opportunity arises. Although confident with the people she knows well, she can sometimes feel anxious in new situations or when meeting unfamiliar dogs so will need her family to be understanding and willing to help build on her confidence around this, enabling her to socialise appropriately.
