Juliet is a cute and affectionate French Bulldog with adorable bat ears!
Typical of the Frenchy nature, Juliet is sweet with a goofy and playful energy. Despite the fact she seems to have had a minimal life so far, she is always super enthusiastic to make new human friends and happy to receive affection from everyone she meets (in fact, she might even demand it!). Ideally she is hoping to find a home with a loving family who can give her companionship through the day and even allow her a snuggle on the sofa while they watch tv.
Although great with people, Juliet can be a little anxious of new surroundings and experiences, which would suggest a lack of exposure, due to this, adopters will need to be willing and committed to building her experience up slowly, allowing her time to adjust. While she has lived with another Frenchie in the past, she can be a little hit and miss with unfamiliar dogs she sees and meets, so would be best suited as the only pet in the home, without the pressure of making friends of the four legged kind.
This little bundle of fun loves to play fetch and tug with her favorite toys, so having a private garden will allow her to play with her humans, without distractions and worry from her surroundings. She even takes a soft toy to bed, ready to snuggle through the night, so prepare to build on her cuddly toy collection!
Juliet has occasional bouts of itchy skin, which is common for the breed – a good diet, regular flea treatments, and attentive care will help keep her comfortable. She’s due her second vaccination at the end of December, so her new family will need to bring her to the centre for this if she’s adopted before then. Additionally, Juliet will require neutering three months after her next season, and her adopters should plan for her travel and recovery – CDCH are ready to support and advise throughout the adoption process.
