Introducing beautiful Lady,
Lady has a sweet and gentle nature which has stolen the hearts of everyone here at CDCH. She can be shy/timid when greeting new people but has formed loving relationships with the staff. Due to Lady’s confidence, she will need a patient and understanding home that can help her come out of her shell. As she prefers the quieter side to life she would be best suited to an adult only home or children of 16 years +.
She loves anything that involves the outdoors; playing in the garden, running in open fields or sniffing around in the hedgerows. Her new family will need to be keen walkers with enough time to provide her with sufficient daily exercise. Lady is a typical spaniel when it comes to sniffing; when her nose is down, her ears turn off! So she will need a home that is committed to on-going recall and basic training.
It’s likely Lady hasn’t experienced much of an indoor life up until now; her new family will need to be considerate of this when introducing her to a home life and provide her with plenty of time and space to adjust. Her new home will need to be prepared to visit the centre on a few occasions so she can get to know them before the ‘big day’!
She has been in-season throughout her stay at CDCH so far which has made dog introductions difficult. She has shown to be enthusiastic and over-the-top when greeting dogs which is something her new adopters will have to take on board and improve on her manners within the home. Due to this, she would be best suited to being the only dog in the home.
This gorgeous girl has a lot of love to give, if you feel you could give her the safe and secure home she’s looking for then please fill out a perfect match form.
