Introducing the lovely Leyla!
Leyla has a great enthusiasm for life which shines through in her friendly, affectionate and excitable personality. She is eager to make friends with both humans and dogs making her a sociable girl. She will thrive in a home that can offer her plenty of companionship, affection and play!
Leyla has been living in a foster home through her stay at CDCH so is accustomed to a home environment. She has a lust for life, and enjoys interacting with people and other dogs when out on her walks. She’s even enjoyed a holiday to the beach with her foster family which she loved!
As Leyla is young, she’s still learning about the world around her; her new family will need to be committed to on-going training and socialisation to ensure she remains the well balanced dog she’s growing up to be. Leyla still displays some puppy-like behaviour like mouthing, so this will need to be managed within the home, because of this she would be best suited to a home with teenage children age 13+.
Her foster home have been teaching her the ropes when it comes to housetraining but this is still a work in progress. Her new family will need to be patient throughout the transition into a new home as accidents are likely to occur.
Due to her age, Leyla has not yet been neutered, therefore any adopters will need to be willing to return to the centre at the end of November for this procedure to take place. If you live further than 1.5 hours from the centre, then you will need to seek treatment from a local vet, to which a neuter voucher will be provided towards the cost.
If you’re looking for a cheeky but loving companion then look no further than Leyla. Please fill out a perfect match form below.
