This gorgeous lady is Luna.

She is an energetic young pup who is now ready to start her life in a new forever home. Luna is a very lively lurcher, therefore, will need a very active new home which can offer her lots of time and training, as well as mental and physical stimulation.

Luna adores people and is quite happy with making new human friends when the opportunity arises – often attempting to get a face lick in when she can. She can forget that she is growing in size, and will jump up and get quite excitable. She has displayed signs of anxiety when she has been left, so will initially need her adopter(s) to be around for most of the time, with the hope of building her up to being on her own for short periods of time.

Luna will need to be the only dog in the home initially. She has shown that she is interested in meeting other dogs, and may be likely to initiate play, however, due to missing out on the all important stages of puppy socialisation, she will need this building up slowly and safely, to ensure she learns to be respectful during her interactions. Currently she does get a little frustrated on the lead as she has been unable to approach, so calm walks will help limit this at first, while also allowing her owners to work on her behaviour through positive training.
