Lyra is Mac’s sister and, just like him, she’s bursting with brains, energy, and potential. Unlike her brother, Lyra was lucky enough to spend her early months in foster care, where she has been living as part of a family unit with another dog. This means she has a good grounding in home life and is already familiar with the sights and sounds of a typical household.
Lyra is a people-loving girl who can get very excited when meeting new friends – her enthusiasm sometimes spills over into bouncy greetings and a lack of manners, so she’ll benefit from patient guidance and consistent training to help her polish her social skills. Because of this, she’d be best suited to an adult-only home or one with children aged 13+.
What Lyra Needs:
Lyra has all the makings of a fantastic, loyal companion for someone who can offer her the right outlets. She’s clever, affectionate, and full of personality – with the right guidance, she’ll blossom into a brilliant adventure buddy and training partner.
If you’re looking for a high-energy, affectionate young dog with bags of potential, and you have the knowledge and enthusiasm to meet her needs, Lyra could be the perfect addition to your home.
