Mac is a switched-on young lad with a big heart and an even bigger brain. He loves to learn and will only be suitable for a home that is looking for a dog to join them in a working activity or is in the sporting / protection community that has an understanding of these high-drive breeds. He’s both food and toy motivated, eager to please his people, and thrives on positive training.

Mac is a social butterfly – friendly with everyone he meets and eager to please his human companions. Mac is social with other dogs but he lacks manners so will need gradual exposure to other tolerant dogs who can show him the ropes.

Sadly, through no fault of his own, Mac has grown up in a kennel environment as a case animal and hasn’t had the chance to experience home life until now. This means everyday things in a typical home can be a little overwhelming for him at first. He’ll need patient, understanding caregivers who can gently guide him through this transition.

What Mac Needs:

• A job to do – Mac is not a couch companion; he’s a bright, driven dog who will thrive with purpose. Whether that’s scent work, obedience, mantrailing, or other training outlets, he needs his brain kept busy just as much as his body.
• Experienced hands – He’ll be best suited to someone with a genuine interest in Malinois-types (or similar working breeds) who understands their need for structure, stimulation, and ongoing training.
• An active, outdoorsy lifestyle where he can burn off energy and put his natural abilities to use.
• A calm, rural or working-style environment where he can grow in confidence without too many overwhelming distractions.
• People who are committed, consistent, and excited about helping him reach his full potential.

Mac already knows the basics, so he’s ready to build on his foundations with someone who shares his enthusiasm for training and behaviour. In the right home, this boy is going to shine – he’s loyal, clever, and full of love to give.
