Maeve

Maeve is a 4-month-old Husky x Rottweiler with a bold spirit and a playful spark that’s impossible to ignore. She arrived in our care alongside her sister, Mika, after experiencing a difficult start in life. The girls had been raised in overcrowded conditions with very little exposure to the outside world and no early socialisation.

Maeve is a bright and lively puppy who loves to explore and interact with her surroundings. Although she appears more confident than her sister, she still missed out on those crucial early experiences and will need continued, positive socialisation to help her grow into a well-rounded adult. Her new family must be committed to guiding her through the world in a structured and supportive way, helping her learn appropriate boundaries, manners, and life skills as she matures.

As a mix of two intelligent and high-energy breeds, Maeve will need an active home that can keep both her body and mind engaged. She will thrive with adopters who can provide ongoing training, fun enrichment, and plenty of outlets for her enthusiasm. She is still very much a young puppy, so her family should be prepared to continue working on all the basics, including lead training, recall, house training, and polite interactions.

Maeve would particularly flourish in a home with another suitable dog who matches her playful energy and can help show her the ropes. A confident canine companion would not only be a wonderful playmate but also help guide her as she continues learning about the world around her.
