Maisy is a 6-year-old Patterdale Terrier who is looking for a long-term foster home with someone who understands terrier traits and can offer her stability, structure, and plenty of outdoor time.

She is a typical Patterdale: bright, bold, and full of enthusiasm. Maisy is a social and friendly girl who enjoys meeting people and can be quite excitable, especially when there’s something fun going on. She absolutely loves being outdoors, exploring her environment, and making the most of her walks.

Due to her strong prey drive, Maisy will need a responsible and experienced foster carer who understands this instinct and can manage it appropriately. For this reason, she must be the only pet in the home, with no other animals.

Maisy could live with children aged 10 years and over, provided they are dog-savvy and respectful of her needs. She would thrive in a home that can offer consistent routines and positive outlets for her energy, alongside the guidance and purpose that terriers do best with.

In return, Maisy will reward her carers with affection, fun, and loyal companionship. If you’re looking to support a lively, outdoors-loving terrier and can offer a committed foster placement until she finds her forever home, Maisy would love to meet you.

Due to the sensitive nature of Maisy’s case, we’re unable to share photos of her at present, as her safety is our priority.

Please complete the foster application below to express your interest in fostering Maisy – please do include as much information as possible.
