Ideal Home Situation:
I need a quiet and calm home, with understanding owners who will allow me time to settle

Since arriving at the centre, Nancy has struggled in the cattery environment, finding it difficult to venture out of her safe space and becoming a little shut down. Over the last few weeks, Nancy has come on leaps and bounds and is now enjoying fuss and cuddles. We would love to get this beautiful Tabby girl back on her four feet as soon as we can, by finding her a quiet and calm home, with new owners who will give her time and space to allow her to settle at her own pace.

Nancy has already had two homes in her short life, with the last being quite a busy environment, which she found quite stressful, so her ideal new home would be calm, relaxed and have no other animals. Once settled, Nancy has proven herself to be a sweet girl who is curious and inquisitive and will make a great feline companion.

She is looking for patient and understanding owners, who are happy to let her settle in at her own pace. As Nancy has been with us for a little while, we have recently placed her into foster care where she made herself at home and come out of her shell. She is still a little nervous, but we have seen a great improvement since being in a home environment. She is now most often found curled up on the sofa with her foster carers enjoying some much needed TLC.

Nancy has settled in to her foster home well and her foster carers describe her as…’“She’s a beautiful intelligent girl and loves company and fuss. She purrs loudly with head and belly rubs, enjoys gentle brushing and fast furious toy fun. However she still can be nervous and jumpy with noises and sudden movements, but she’s very clean and easy to look after. As her confidence and personality grows, we think she’ll be quite a cheeky little cat”

We hope that Nancy is not overlooked for needing a little more time, so if you feel you are the special home she needs, please fill out a form below:
