Nellie

Nellie is a 7-year-old Staffie who is as affectionate as they come. She is incredibly people-orientated and forms strong bonds with those she trusts, making her a loyal and loving companion. Nellie came into our care due to unfortunate circumstances after being removed from a property because of welfare concerns, but despite this, she has so much love to give and a wonderfully gentle nature.

Nellie thrives on human company and adores being around her people, so she would be happiest in a home where someone is around for most of the day. She loves attention, affection, and simply being part of everyday life with her humans.

An active girl who enjoys getting out and about, Nellie loves exploring and going for walks. She is an absolute joy to walk – brilliant on the lead and very attentive to her handler – making her the perfect companion for a family or individual who enjoys spending time outdoors.

When it comes to other dogs, Nellie is fairly indifferent. She’s happy to say a polite hello and could enjoy walks with calm, sociable dogs, but she isn’t particularly fussed about canine company. Because she loves human attention so much, we feel she would be best suited as the only dog in the home, where she won’t have to share her people.

Nellie could live with children aged 10 years and over, provided they are dog-savvy and respectful of her space, especially at first. She can be a little shy initially, but with patience and kindness, she quickly shows her affectionate and loving personality.

Nellie is a truly special girl who will reward her future family with endless love, loyalty, and companionship. She’s ready to find a home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and be cherished as she deserves.
