Norman (affectionately known as Normy) is on the lookout for his perfect match!

This handsome boy is hoping to find a calm and quiet home, without too many comings and goings, so he can settle in at his own pace. Although he may be a bit anxious around new faces due to limited socialisation from an early age, all Norman needs is a little time, patience and understanding to blossom into the loyal companion he has shown us to be.

Once you’ve earned Norman’s trust, get ready to experience the goofy and playful side of this delightful pup – he’s a big fan of toys, especially the ones that squeak! Being the young dog he is, he has plenty of energy to spare, so is ideally looking for a family who can keep him active- whether it’s countryside strolls, backyard fetch sessions, or engaging brain games, Norman is up for it! Despite this, at the end of the day, he’s always happy to have sofa snuggles with his favourite people!

While Norman may take a little time to settle into his new home, his new family will need to be patient and take a gentle approach as he adjusts to his surroundings. Having someone around for a good part of the day to help him settle and gradually build up his confidence with short periods alone will be key to his success. Norman will need slow introductions and further socialisation training to help build his confidence with the world around him, with lots of reassurance along the way. He is a clever boy and very responsive when there is a tasty treat involved, meaning he is a pleasure to teach!

Norman is looking to be the only pet and would be best suited to older children aged 16 years and above. With the right family by his side, offering plenty love and time, Norman will thrive – we know with a little work from his adopters, he will become the wonderful dog we know he can be.
