Peach is a gentle 1-year-old Spaniel with the softest heart!

Although an extremely shy girl, since arriving at our centre, she has shown nothing but kindness towards the staff while they help her to adjust to her new surroundings. Despite this, it’s clear that Peach is feeling overwhelmed and has had very limited experience and socialisation in her life so far, as she is quite shut down and worried by what is going on around her –  the world is a little scary for her right now!

Due to her nerves, we are now starting our search for a super special and understanding family who is ready to show Peach the joys of life at her own pace! She’ll need adopters who can offer her patience, love, and the time to build trust as she gradually discovers how wonderful life can be. Peach will benefit from multiple visits to the centre, so she can slowly get to know her new family before heading to her forever home – this will help her feel more comfortable and confident.

While Peach is still learning to feel safe, we’ve started to see glimpses of her true personality, which we feel is hidden away, waiting to burst our – we just know that once she has overcome her worries, she is going to be a delightful family companion. Her adopters will need to be prepared for a long settling period and some potential niggles while she adjusts, and happy to take a slow and gentle approach with her, giving time for her confidence to grow in the home before starting introductions to the world around her. Peach will thrive in a calm, quiet home with a stable routine, and at this time, would benefit from having someone around to help settle her in.

Peach is booked in to be neutered with our veterinary team in October, therefore, these arrangements will be discussed further with any prospective adopters during the initial process.

If you have the patience and heart to help this special girl come out of her shell, Peach is ready to meet you and start the next chapter of her journey. Complete an application below to register your interest:
