Meet little Miss Peanut!

Peanut is a tabby and white DSH female estimated to be around 10 years old.

Peanut first came into our care a number of weeks ago and has struggled to settle into cattery life. Peanut is very nervous in nature, and takes a while to make new friends. For the first couple of weeks here, Peanut chose to stay hidden and did not want to interact with humans. Overtime she has grown in confidence and has now realised that sitting on human laps is a joy! She can still be very wary of new people and experiences, and is likely to take a while to settle into a new home, however she has shown that she enjoys human company and with time and patience will make a lovely companion.

Peanut has previously lived with other cats, however she found this experience stressful and for that reason is looking for a home with no other animals. Peanut can easily be spooked by loud noises and busy environments, so it is important that her new home is calm and quiet and her adopters are understanding that it is likely she will take a while to settle in.
