Introducing Peppa, the fun loving Staffie X!
Peppa is a people pleaser and loves to learn! She is very responsive to all aspects of her training from obedience training through to desensitisation. Her affectionate, fun and cheeky personality has really shone through and she is a delight to be around. She’s incredibly affectionate and thrives from constant human interaction whether its a cuddle on the sofa or a game of tug-of-war in the garden! Her new home will need to be around for most of the day as she thrives in human company.
Before entering the shelter Peppa has led a very sheltered life which has had an effect on her confidence with the world around her; however the staff have introduced positive training methods which has allowed Peppa’s confidence to grow with new people, other dogs and new environments. She will require an understanding and patient home that are dedicated to her training. She has the potential to live with children of 15 years+.
She will thrive in a rural or semi rural location with owners that can provide her with plenty of countryside walks and adventures as she’s young and active. She will be a great addition to a home that would be interested in extra activities like scent work or agility as she’s proven to be an intelligent girl.
Peppa has been reactive towards strangers and other dogs but this is improving daily with the continued training at the centre; she has even recently enjoyed play sessions and walks with new doggy friends! Due to these reactive behaviours her new home will need to be committed to continuing this training within the home to ensure she can lead a comfortable, happy and social life. She loves toys and food (especially hot dog!) so these can be used as a training tool.
If your home is missing the warmth of an affectionate companion then look no further than Peppa!
