Introducing our gorgeous girl Pixie.

This lovable little girl has proven to be the perfect little lap dog companion since arriving at the centre. She relishes in human company and affection – her favourite past time is a good snuggle on the sofa. She has an incredibly gentle and calm nature so will fit in beautifully with a relaxed/chilled out household.

Don’t let her age fool you as she still enjoys countryside walks – in typical terrier style she always has her nose to the ground exploring! As she hasn’t let age slow her down she will require a fairly active home. She would be suitable to live with calm children above the age of 10 years – Pixie loves the quieter things in life as she’s an older girl.

Pixie isn’t fond of other dogs in her personal space so will need to be the only dog in the home. She was unfortunately attacked by another dog in her previous home which has resulted in her being reactive of other dogs in her environment. It would be beneficial that her new home could provide her with walks that are low dog populated so she can enjoy stress free walks. She is seeking a understanding home that will embrace her old habits.

She walks well on the lead, and knows basic commands – and remember you can still teach an old dog new tricks!
