APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED AS THE REHOMING TEAM CARRY OUT OUR SHORTLISTING PROCESS.
Introducing Puddle, the 16 week old Cane Corso X pup!
Puddle is a typical puppy; he’s playful, interested in exploring the world and loving. This handsome chunk is searching for a family who are keen to help him learn and build his confidence with the world. He’s a people friendly boy who is eager to follow his favouriate humans lead; he could live with children of all ages, so long as they are dog savvy and have an understanding of puppy behaviour. Homes with existing pets will be considered, so long as careful introductions are carried out to ensure it’s positive for Puddle and the other animal within the home.
Puppy training classes will be a must with Puddle to ensure he can master his basic training and socalise in a controlled manner.Unfortunately Puddle has experienced quite a restrictive life up until now so his new family will need to ensure they introduce him to novel things slowly and at his own pace to ensure his experiences are positive.
He will require a home where someone is around for most of the day as puppies require frequent company and interaction throughout, as well as regular visits outdoors to help with toilet training. Puddle has proven to be a quick learner and is nearly fully house trained, along with learning basic commands like sit! It would be beneficial if their new owner(s) had experience or an understanding of large breeds as Puddle will grow up to be a big and strong adult dog.
Any new applicant will need to be avalible to view and adopt swiftly to ensure Puddle isn’t at the centre any longer than he needs to be as it’s important he starts to learn about the world around him. Applicants will also need to be available to return to the centre for his 2nd vaccination on the 16th February, unless compatible treatment is arranged more locally (this can be discussed in the rehoming conversation).
If you’re looking for a playful pup to join your family then Puddle may be the one!
