Meet our lovely girl Rain.

Rain is an all black DSH female estimated to be around 18 months old.

Rain first came into our care heavily pregnant and shortly after arriving gave birth to a beautiful litter of kittens who have now all been rehomed. Rain is an extremely nervous girl, who can become stressed around humans, although she will tolerate short bursts of human company, she is not comfortable to share a space with humans and cannot be touched or handled. She has been assessed as under socialised / semi-feral, and is looking for a special type of home where she can live the independent life she is looking for.

Rain is looking for an outdoor home where she can live separately from humans, but with adopters who are happy to feed and care for her, and allow her a more social life if that’s what she eventually chooses. It is really important that Rain’s adopters are accepting of her independent nature, and allow her to live the life she chooses. She would benefit from a farm type home, or a rural home with separate living quarters (outbuilding / shed). Although looking for an outdoor type home, Rain will need a secure warm shelter to be housed in initially with free access once settled (usually after 4 weeks).
